1. Who We Are

Winalt Technologies operates aisalesmanchatpro.com and develops the WinaltChat and WinaltChat Pro WordPress plugins. If you have any privacy-related questions, please contact us at sales@aisalesmanchatpro.com.

2. Information We Collect

On this website (aisalesmanchatpro.com):

• License key signups: We collect your name (optional) and email address when you request a free Analytics Dashboard Key. This is used solely to generate and deliver your license key, and to send renewal reminders.
• Agency inquiry form: We collect name, business email, store name, number of sites, and any additional details you provide. This is used to respond to your inquiry.
• Feedback forms: We collect feedback type, details, and optional email address. This is used by our development team to improve the product.
• Privacy requests: We collect name, email, request type, and details to process your data access, correction, or deletion request.

In the WinaltChat (free) plugin installed on your WordPress site:

• The plugin stores conversation memory in your own WordPress database (wp_winalt_conversation_memory) to maintain context across a single chat session. This data exists only on your own server.
• If you configure an external AI provider (Groq, OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini), chat messages are sent to that provider's API. Winalt Technologies does not receive or store these messages.
• No analytics or tracking data is collected in the free plugin. Tracking and feedback collection are explicitly disabled.

In the WinaltChat Pro plugin installed on your WordPress site:

• The plugin stores tracking events (chat opens, product clicks, funnel stages) in your own WordPress database to power the analytics dashboard.
• Tracked event data includes: session ID, device type, traffic source, user type (guest/returning), landing page, and product ID. IP addresses may be logged for session identification and are stored on your own server.
• If you enable in-chat feedback, thumbs-up/down ratings and the associated message pairs are stored in your database.
• If a customer completes an interest lead capture form (when a product is unavailable), their name, email, and product interest are stored in your database.
• Revenue attribution data (order IDs, session references) is stored in your database to power the revenue dashboard.
• A license key is transmitted to our license validation server at aisalesmanchatpro.com to verify your subscription. The domain name and license key are the only data sent during this check.
• If you enable weekly email reports, your configured recipient email address is used to send automated reports from your own WordPress installation.
• If the in-plugin feedback form is used, feedback is submitted to aisalesmanchatpro.com along with your license key. No personal customer data is included.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate, deliver, and validate your license key
• To respond to support and agency inquiries
• To process privacy requests
• To improve the product based on feedback
• To send renewal reminders for expiring licenses (email only, you can opt out at any time)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, our legal basis for processing personal data is:

• Contract performance: Processing your email address and name to generate and deliver your license key.
• Consent: Where you have ticked a consent checkbox (e.g., for renewal reminders or feedback updates).
• Legitimate interests: Responding to inquiries and processing privacy requests.

5. Data Retention

• License key records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months, then permanently deleted.
• Feedback submissions are retained for up to 24 months and used solely for product development.
• Privacy request records are retained for 36 months to demonstrate compliance.
• Data stored by the plugins on your own WordPress site is entirely under your control. You can delete it via the plugin's uninstall process or the database tools in your WordPress admin.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, submit a request via the Privacy Request Form on our website or email sales@aisalesmanchatpro.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

The aisalesmanchatpro.com website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The WinaltChat and WinaltChat Pro plugins may set a session cookie on your WooCommerce store to maintain chat conversation context. This cookie contains only a session identifier and no personal data.

8. Third-Party AI Providers

When you configure an external AI provider (Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini) in the plugin settings, customer chat messages are transmitted to that provider's API. Each provider has their own privacy policy and data processing terms. Winalt Technologies does not control, receive, or store these messages. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any AI provider you configure.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal data stored on aisalesmanchatpro.com, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. License keys are stored as hashed values. However, no system can guarantee absolute security — please use strong, unique passwords for your accounts.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. International Transfers

Personal data submitted to aisalesmanchatpro.com is processed by Winalt Technologies. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are in place to protect your data.
